SPECIAL EVENT STATION

To celebrate our 40th Annual Picnic and 58 years

of continuous Net operation,

a special event station operating from the park,

will be on the air from 9 AM to 4 PM,  

including the regular Net operation from 10 until 12.

A QSL card will be available for a SASE and certificates

will be given to those attending the picnic.    

SPECIAL DOOR PRIZES

To celebrate our 40th Picnic, 

a special door prize drawing will be held

in addition to our regular door prize drawing.

Also, there will be a drawing

for a special ladies only door prize.

AGAIN THIS YEAR FOR THE XYLs AND YLs

A carpool will be leaving the Park at 10 AM for Bastrop to attend Yesterfest.  Yesterfest is an annual Bastrop event that celebrates the early cultures.  Many activities are planned.  For details see www.bastropoperahouse.com/yesterfest.htm

 Aris Young KB5RXS will be leading the carpool again this year and lunch at a tearoom is also planned.  

ENTERTAINMENT

Dave KA5CRL has volunteered to bring his equipment and provide some musical entertainment.  Anyone that plays an instrument of any kind is encouraged to come join in the jam session.
